Christabel started her Coding journey at Code Ninja in 2020. Since then, she has worked on multiple real-world projects that improved her competencies in Python, Data Analytics and Data Visualisation.

Working with our instructors, Christabel developed a coding portfolio (click here to view) to showcase and eventually secured a place to study Applied Data Analytics in Business at at one of Singapore’s top Polytechnics for enrollment 2021.

With an interest in the Titanic incident of 1912, Christabel utilised Python to analyse and visualise a dataset on Titanic’s passengers.

From her project, she found that gender, passenger fares, and family size were correlated with the survival rates of the passengers.

Christabel was also fascinated with how Netflix is able to understand a person’s movie preference.

Our instructors worked with her on a project using Python and Statistical Analysis to correlate and recommend movies for viewers who enjoy Star Wars (1977) and therefore are likely to enjoy the selection.
